Begin taking this medicine as soon as you notice symptoms of the flu.
This medicine may be taken with food if it upsets your stomach. However, when taken with food, your tolerability to Tamiflu may be enhanced. The recommended oral dose of Tamiflu is 75 mg twice daily for 5 days. You should begin treatment within 2 days of onset of symptoms of influenza.

Warnings and Precautions |

Tamiflu is not a substitute for a flu vaccination. You should continue receiving an annual flu vaccination. It is not known whether this medicine is excreted in human milk. You should therefore, use this drug only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the breast-fed infant. Do not take this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. This medicine will not prevent you from spreading influenza to others. If moderate to severe diarrhea occurs, consult your doctor. |

Possible Side Effects |

You may experience some common, less serious side effects: nausea (without vomiting), vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, cough, insomnia, fatigue. |

Storage |
| |
Store Tamiflu under refrigeration at 36º to 46ºF (2º to 8ºC). Do not freeze. |

Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. Consult your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Do not start any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Use of this medicine in children under age 1 for treatment of the flu is not recommended.
